Eligibility Conditions for the Discount
Subsidized transportation is carried out under federal and regional programs aimed at ensuring the affordability of air transportation for passengers.

Tickets at subsidized fares can be purchased at the airline's own sales offices, at agencies in your city, and on the airline's official website.

Subsidized fares allow the free transportation of one piece of checked baggage up to 10 kg (dimensions up to 203 cm total) and one piece of hand luggage up to 10 kg (dimensions 40x30x20 cm).

There are restrictions on booking air tickets at subsidized fares on the routes listed above. One passenger eligible for subsidized transportation can conclude no more than 4 contracts of air carriage on subsidized routes with carriers, including Smartavia (JSC Smartavia Airlines), until December 31, 2025, under one of the following options:

  • No more than 4 one-way tickets, or
  • No more than 2 round-trip tickets, or
  • No more than 2 one-way tickets and no more than 1 round-trip ticket.

Subsidized fares are available to the following passenger categories:

  • A citizen of the Russian Federation registered at a place of residence in the Kaliningrad Region (for subsidized routes to/from Kaliningrad);
  • A citizen of the Russian Federation – a student of a higher education institution located in the Kaliningrad Region, with a document confirming their status as a full-time student. Tickets for full-time students of higher education institutions located in the Kaliningrad Region are issued upon presentation of the prescribed document (for subsidized routes to/from Kaliningrad);
  • Citizens of the Russian Federation – passengers under 23 years of age;
  • Citizens of the Russian Federation – women over 55 years of age, men over 60 years of age;
  • A citizen of the Russian Federation – a person with a Group I disability of any age and their accompanying person;
  • Citizens of the Russian Federation – children with disabilities and the person accompanying a child with a disability;
  • Citizens of the Russian Federation – persons with a childhood disability of Group II or III;
  • Citizens of the Russian Federation – passengers with a certificate of a large family or other documents confirming the status of a large family as per the procedure established by the regulatory legal acts of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Subsidized fares allow the free transportation of one piece of checked baggage up to 10 kg, with total dimensions not exceeding 203 cm, and one piece of hand luggage up to 10 kg, with dimensions not exceeding 40x30x20 cm.

The number of seats available at subsidized fares is limited on each flight.

Youth and pensioners can purchase tickets at subsidized fares directly on the Smartavia website. To do this, enter the route and flight dates in the ticket search.
In the "Passengers" field, click the button "I'm flying with a subsidy" (the button is only available when entering a subsidized route) and select the number of passengers. Click "Search". Great! The Smart Social subsidized fare has been activated for you.
