Don't rush to stand up
Keep your seatbelt fastened until the «Fasten Seatbelt» sigh is turned off. The flight atttendants will make an announcement over the PA system once the aircraft is parked, and it's time to prepare for disembarkation.
Double-check your belongings
Make sure you haven't left anything behind in your seat, under it, or in the overhead compartement. No need to spoil your trip by forgetting something.
It is like a final scene: everybody applauds, and you are trying to remember where is your carry-on
Time to disembark
The flight is over. Exit the aircraft via the bus or jet bridge to enter the airport building. Follow the signs to the exit, baggage claim, or hte transfer area if you have a connecting flight from the same airport and on the same ticket.
